Novemeber 4, 2008 was a very historic moment for African Americans. Barack Obama was elected President of the United States of America, Obama being the first African American elected president, brings about change for the many African Americans in the U.S. I am a proud African American because blacks have come a long way for example slavery, in which we were able to over come and still progress. Barack being elected shows African Americans that you can do anything in life, but you will work for it. Many people feel after hearing who won the elections, they are able to do what ever they want but not looking at it from a certain perspective, realizing that Barack worked for his position in the election of 2008. Obama is going to stand by his word and bring about change. He's going to best African American president as long as he has the people behind him, he is untouchable.

This was an incridible election, and a powerful one at that. Too see so many people of different ethnicity's and ages come together was beautiful. It is a great accomplishment for African American's that only provokes us to achieve what was once the impossible. I was reading something that said, that if they took away all of the African American votes, and youth votes Obama still would have won because he won a great amount of caucasian votes in large states, that only proves he is president because of what he stands for and doesn't not solely rely on his race.
Nov 4th indeed was a very important day not for only blacks but for people of all different races. It was a day that many thought was impossible and unbelievable. Barack Obama was elected as the 44th president which is an historic event in the U.S. Im glad I was able to see this day a day that I and many others thought would never come. BARACK.........
This moment is big because of the struggles that blck people had to overcome and he proved that any black human can achieve anything
I was extremely happy when Obama was elected president. I have complete faith that he will change things in the UnitED States making Americans once again proud to be apart of this country
